Ejwalks.co.uk – Dog Walking & Pet Care Services
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Ejwalks.co.uk (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or using our services, you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
1. Services
Ejwalks.co.uk provides dog walking and related pet care services as agreed at the time of booking. Services may include individual walks, group walks, and other pet care services as advertised.
All services are subject to availability.
2. Booking & Payment
- All bookings must be made in advance.
- Payment is due in advance unless otherwise agreed.
- We reserve the right to suspend or cancel services if payment is not received on time.
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
- No refunds are given for missed walks due to client absence, inability to access the property, or aggressive or unsafe dog behaviour.
- In the event that we must cancel a walk due to illness, emergency, or severe weather, we will offer a replacement walk or refund.
4. Access & Keys
- Clients must ensure safe and secure access to their property.
- Any keys provided will be kept securely and coded for confidentiality.
- Ejwalks.co.uk is not responsible for damage caused by faulty locks or unsafe property conditions.
5. Dog Behaviour & Temperament
- All dogs must be non-aggressive and suitably socialised.
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if a dog displays aggressive, dangerous, or unpredictable behaviour.
- Clients must inform us of any behavioural issues, medical conditions, or special requirements.
6. Health, Vaccinations & Flea Control
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated, wormed, and treated regularly for fleas.
- Owners must disclose any medical conditions or injuries prior to booking.
- Ejwalks.co.uk accepts no liability for illness, injury, or death unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Leads, Collars & Equipment
- Dogs must wear a secure collar or harness with identification tags.
- We reserve the right to use our own leads or safety equipment where necessary.
8. Emergencies & Veterinary Treatment
- In the event of illness or injury, we will seek veterinary care immediately.
- All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the client.
- We will make every effort to contact the owner before treatment, but consent is given for emergency care if the owner cannot be reached.
9. Weather & Safety
- Walks may be adjusted, shortened, or cancelled due to extreme weather conditions for the safety of the dogs.
- We will always prioritise your dog’s welfare.
10. Liability & Insurance
- Ejwalks.co.uk holds appropriate public liability insurance.
- While every care is taken, we cannot be held liable for:
- Illness, injury, or death unless caused by negligence
- Loss or damage caused by a dog
- Third-party actions
11. Data Protection & Privacy
- All personal information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR laws.
- Client data will never be shared with third parties without consent.
12. Photographs & Social Media
- We may take photos or videos of dogs for promotional purposes.
- Clients may opt out of this at any time in writing.
13. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time for:
- Aggressive or unsafe dog behaviour
- Non-payment
- Breach of these Terms and Conditions
14. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Walea.
